Pay IQ Report provides an objective analysis of the impacts of labor for more than 3500 individual hospital throughout the US. The report is constructed of 4 distinct sections:

  • Overall Labor Landscape – macro factors that frame the current labor position

  • Patterns – assessment of key risk factors based on labor landscape

  • Pay IQ Benchmark – comparison (local & national) of labor efficiency

  • Annual Recapture Estimate – calculated potential labor savings available to the organization without downsizing


An organization's Pay IQ is the measure of labor efficiency. It is calculated using a proprietary algorithm that incorporates financial data from publically available sources. The algorithm is designed to evaluate labor utilization in a manner that accounts for differences in reimbursement and cost of living.
