Concerro provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that helps hospitals and health systems effectively manage their workforce and mission critical communications with online scheduling, open shift management, patient acuity, and emergency preparedness solutions. Concerro was acquired by API Healthcare in February 2012 to significantly increase its ability to deliver workforce management solutions across the entire healthcare community.

Concerro's History:

Founded in 2002 as BidShift, the company developed the first open shift management bidding system for the healthcare industry. As the company's focus evolved into staffing and scheduling effectiveness, BidShift changed its name to Concerro, Inc. in 2008.

Concerro acquired CommandAware, a hospital incident management and disaster response solution, from PortBlue in 2009. The addition to the Concerro family enables hospitals to easily maintain compliance, improve performance and maximize reimbursement after an incident.

To reinforce Concerro's commitment to delivering the most cost-effective and innovative solutions for hospitals, the company acquired RES-Q Healthcare Systems in 2010. RES-Q had pursued one mission since 1979: advancing scheduling software for hospitals. The company's award-winning labor management and scheduling applications aligned completely with Concerro's strategy to help hospitals control labor costs through optimization rather than reduction.

Concerro has won numerous awards and recognition, including being named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 for four consecutive years, and receiving Red Herring's 100 most promising private technology ventures in North America and Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) awards.
